: 30 sec On April 1, the San Francisco chapter of the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. will present its 2006 Beautillion at the Grand Hyatt at Union Square. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception followed by the beau presentation. The Beautillion is a celebration of the achievements of young African American men who are high school juniors and/or seniors, and college freshmen. Each Beau is chosen in recognition of his demonstrated achievements in academics, sports, the arts, community, church, leadership, and his overall commitment to the advancement of African Americans. : 45 sec On April 1, the San Francisco chapter of the Jack and Jill of America, Inc. will present its 2006 Beautillion at the Grand Hyatt at Union Square, 345 Stockton Street in San Francisco. The festivities began at 5:30 p.m. with a reception followed by the beau presentation, dinner and dancing. The theme of Beautillion 2006 is A Man Among Men: Continuing a Legacy of Building Leadership and Character. This year is the 10th biennial event which acknowledges the achievements of young African American men who are high school juniors and/or seniors and college freshmen. Each Beau is chosen in recognition of his demonstrated achievements in academics, sports, the arts, community, church, leadership, and his overall commitment to the advancement of African Americans.
