Rites of Passage Ceremony
Our lives are made richer through ceremonies and rituals, especially those that
remind us of the power within each of us to achieve our dreams. Rites of passage
symbolize the transition from one life stage to another and encourage each participant
to discover meaning and vision within their own life.

Jr. Beau Chris Detweiler
presents the kente cloth to Beau Christoper Edmond Allen.
In traditional societies the younger males look to their elders as mentors.
Our Junior Beaux relate in the same manner to our Beaux, engaging throughout
the program by attending some of the joint activities. On the event night
the Junior Beau proudly bestows the symbol of passage to the Beau with
certain anticipation for the time when he stands before the community.
