Beautillion comes to San Francisco only once every two years. Beautillion 2010 will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Hilton Hotel, San Francisco! Rites of Passage Ceremony

Our lives are made richer through ceremonies and rituals, especially those that remind us of the power within each of us to achieve our dreams. Rites of passage symbolize the transition from one life stage to another and encourage each participant to discover meaning and vision within their own life.

In traditional societies the younger males look to their elders as mentors. Our Junior Beaux relate in the same manner to our Beaux, engaging throughout the program by attending some of the joint activities. On the event night the Junior Beau proudly bestows the symbol of passage to the Beau with certain anticipation for the time when he stands before the community.

The San Francisco Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc has hosted Beautillion biennially since 1988. Since that time our Beaux and Belles have attended many cultural, civic, and social activities in a wide array of venues.

Beautillion 2008 – "A Man Among Men... Building Pillars of Strength and Integrity for Future Generations." Beautillion 2008 was held Saturday March 27, 2008 at the Four Seasons Hotel, San Francisco. This year we presented 10 Beaux and their escorts. Revisit that year.

Beautillion 2006 – "A Man Among Men...Continuing a Legacy Of Building Leadership and Character." Beautillion 2006 was held Saturday, April 1, 2006 at the Grand Hyatt, Union Square, San Francisco. This year we presented 10 Beaux and their escorts. Revisit that year.

Beautillion 1990 – "Our African American Heritage...A Foundation For Success." Beautillion 1990 was held on April 14, 1990 at The Westin Hotel San Francisco Airport. The event this year was sponsored by Jack and Jill of America, Inc. San Francisco Chapter in cooperation with 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, Inc. This year we presented 12 Beaux and their escorts.
