The beaux are made responsible for an introduction, or a small presentation in order to build their public speaking skills.

Self-Discipline Workshop - February 21, 2010 IMAGES
Beau Chair used the acronym A WHIP to mark the 5 pillars of Self-discipline: Acceptance, Willpower, Hard work, Industry, and Persistence. This is a convenient way to remember them, since most people associate discipline with being whipped into shape.

Community Service - February 20, 2010 - IMAGES
Beaux partnered with Friends of the Urban Forest to enrich the beautification of San Francisco by planting trees in designated places.

Conflict Resolution Presentation - February 14, 2010 IMAGES
The San Francisco Chief of Police, Captain George Gascon made an appearance to speak to the Beaux about how to resolve conflicts peaceably. Also, San Francisco’s finest, Julian Hill further explain non-violent solutions.

Goal-Setting Workshop – January 31, 2010
Instruction given on not only how to set goals, but also how to reach them. Beaux are given the tools to set and reach goals, including grades, college, time management, etc.

Man Among Men Presentation  January 24, 2010 - IMAGES
This presentation and workshop was given by Beaux Chair Bobby Sisk in the Kaiser Building's Diamond Room.  It was a mandatory workshop for all Beaux.  It highlighted some important characteristics that are stressed throughout the Beautillion process such as Trustworthiness, Caring, and Respectability.

Freedom Train Ride   January 18, 2010 - IMAGES
Beaux , Belles, and Jr. Beaux participated as a group in San Francisco's Freedom Train Ride, a symbolic ride over a distance of 51 miles from San Jose to San Francisco - the same distance as the Selma to Montgomery march in which King led over 25,000 people in 1965. Passengers celebrate the life, legend and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his contributions to the fight for racial equality in America.
