Cornel West Forum – January 28, 2006
The Beaux and Junior Beaux were in attendance at Stanford University to hear
Cornel West address matters of equity in education. The young men heard numerous
inspirational messages delivered by Dr. West, in particular, he advised the
attendees 'not to aspire to success alone, but to aspire to greatness...and
to use success as a means to the service of others.
Foundation
for a College Education (FCE) and Stanford University School of Education present "Equity
Matters: Creating Educational Opportunities for All Students," a higher
education forum featuring Dr. Cornel West and moderated by Professor Linda
Darling-Hammond.
